Why we built this.
Creators have the vision. We have the foundation. After 30+ years of combined experience producing and running production companies, we kept seeing the same thing. Talented creators who knew exactly what story they wanted to tell, but couldn't get the support they needed to actually make it happen. The business side of creativity is hard. Most creators have to figure it out alone. We built In Tandem so they don't have to.
The Team.
Melanie DiPietro
Co-Founder
Melanie has spent her career at the intersection of creative and business, developing projects, producing them, and running the operations behind them. With a Master's in Business and years of on-set experience, she moves fluently between a script note and a balance sheet. She served as COO and Head of Development at an international production company, managing a full slate of scripted and unscripted projects. She's produced award-winning independent features and international television series.
Samantha Simon
Co-Founder
Samantha has line produced and production supervised for Universal, Legendary, Warner Brothers, and Sony. She knows what it takes to get a project from pitch to delivery across genres, budgets, and borders. Over the past eight years she has worked as a development executive, building and managing slates and developing projects from concept through pitch. Her ability to move between the creative and physical demands of production makes her the kind of partner every creator wants in their corner.

We have a strategic partnership with Paprika for production services across nine countries in Central and Eastern Europe.

We serve as Executive Producers on a slate of international TV projects spanning multiple genres and territories.
